Short-lived Canpages Writing Gig

I provide writing/blogging services for Helium Content Source (https://www.heliumcontentsource.com) and the latest assignment was to write short 300-500 word articles for Canpages, advertised as Canada’s fastest growing local search company.

Helium uses a great dashboard for article submissions, edits, and approvals. Canpages uses WordPress for the blogging platform and when articles are approved at Helium, a second set of edits and approvals happen at Canpages. I was able to get 4 articles published at Canpages before the assignment came to an end for me.

Logitech Circle 2 Security Webcam has gone Offline (SOLVED)

In November 2022, I realized that my webcam had stopped working. I took it down from above my door mount in order to troubleshoot closely. The unit would power on with a steady white lighting around the front but I was used to seeing green. When I press the button to reset it, it would reboot and start flashing different coloured lights but when I release the button, all lighting would stop. What to do when Settings will not open on your iPhone?

My daughter complained about not being to launch the Settings menu from her iPhone11. She has restarted multiple times already. I looked at the obvious like resetting making sure screentime is disabled on her account and tried ways to reset without losing her photos and videos. Everything I tried required access to the Settings menu. I was sure it wasn’t a hardware issue but a software configuration issue. The second part of my troubleshooting involved wiping the phone and restoring from backup in order to rule out the hardware issue theory. How I passed the AZ-104 Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Exam

I had been planning to take the Microsoft Certified Solutions Architect track back when the prerequisite was AZ-303 and AZ-304. Life got in the way and now these two prerequisites have been deprecated and replaced by AZ-305. However, in order to take this exam, I needed to get through AZ-104 first. Here are resources that I used to prepare for it: * GlobalKnowledge/Skillsoft 4-day BootCamp. I have been using this training company for a while now but it has steadily just gotten worse. The trainers are outsourced and not very professional in my opinion. I do not recommend GlobalKnowledge at all. I didn’t really learn much from the lesson material but the lesson/challenge labs were very helpful. This bootcamp comes with an Azurepass subscription and a free exam voucher. I actually racked up to $90 out of the $100 credit provided on this subscription which expires in 12 days so I better delete all the resources before then to avoid incurring more.
