61.57 minutes to complete the 10K Sun Run

I took some time off from work, university, and work-sponsored seminars to compete in the yearly Sun Run. This year was different from last year in that I ran the entire 10K. I improved on last years results by close to 10 minutes and can safely say that next year, I can qualify for the runners color green or white. I could have made under an hour easily if it wasn’t for the walkers that I had to avoid running into. I have to get out of the purple color.

Make sure you go out there and get physical. A healthy body and healthy mind does a lot to improving your company’s bottom line.

Data Communications and Networking course at SFU

I am so glad that I have finished with the written part of my final homework for CMPT 371 (Data Communications and Networks) at Simon Fraser University. It usually takes me past midnight to finish any of the homeworks or programming assignments. Which reminds me – the programming part of the assignment is due on April 8 which is this Sunday. I haven’t looked at it yet but I’ll be glad when that is done. It’s been hard to focus in on the lessons and on the reading materials but I think I have learned a lot and am now almost prepared to tackle some more theories and research topics in Computer Science. I have missed this type of traditional classroom learning but am I tired!
